The third wild beast! My panther watercolour!

Watercolour of Panther by Marcia KuperbergHere he is - to join his mates the tiger and the leopard: my evil panther. Take care - he has his eyes on you! Painting him was a challenge - all that black fur. In reality, I did not use any actual black paint in the painting - it's all blues, dark mauves, greens and mixes.

I laughed when I saw this-it is wonderful! And amazing to think that you did not use black paint. It is my favourite of the three wild animal paintings. I do like your more delicate watercolours, too but somehow can connect more deeply with "fire and soul". Maybe it is the evil eyes that stare out so boldly. Will you hang the three pictures together?

So glad you like him, Jo! The three pictures should hang together if possible. I am hoping to sell them at a coming exhibition in which I am participating together with 3 other artists. I shall be asking quite a high price for each one so they may not end up being together. On the other hand, I like them so won't be too upset if they don't sell. My problem re hanging together: I have run out of wall space!
